Promise of Peace when our minds on Him

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because He commits himself to You, leans on You and hopes confidently in You. Isaiah 26:3 AMP

The Lord keeps drawing me back to this promise, especially when I feel anxious about what needs to be accomplished in a day. The promise is that if I focus my mind on Him, He will keep me in peace. When I understand the destructive nature of anxiety I also begin to comprehend what an amazing gift peace is, and how important it is in my relationship with God.

Lord, help me to continually focus my mind on You rather than to worry about life. Thank You for the peace You promise. I commit my mind to You, I lean on You and I hope in You.
